M16 - MC980811-2
A very rare Harrington & Richardson M16A1, marked "Property
of the U.S. Gov't". Tear drop forward assist, standard A-1
upper, smooth buttplate, which is correct for the H&R
weapons. This weapon is in mint condition and still has the
paper oil tube in the bore. I would like to classify this
weapon as unfired, however, there is a very small amount of
finish wear on the bottom of the bolt carrier, from being
cocked. H&R was one of two companies outside of Colt
Firearms that manufactured a very small percentage of M16's
during the Vietnam War. This is a nice collectors piece.
