M16 - 220215-4This weapon began life as a factory Colt M16A1 carbine. It has been totally tricked out with a factory Colt 14.5" M4 upper, Knight Armament RAS II modular weapon mount system complete with pistol grip, Lewis SOP-MOD collapsible stock, hydraulic carbine buffer, Insight M6X combination tactical laser / lighting system, Trijicon ACOG TA31F tactical scope, and SWR Spec-War 2 .223 silencer. The RAS II allows the operator to interchange scopes, lasers, lights, etc., very quickly. SWR has designed a custom flash hider that allows the user to quick disconnect the suppressor for both modes of firing. The M4 barrel allows for the mounting of an M203 launcher and a Lewis SOP-MOD stock allows the operator to store additional batteries for night vision in two tubes that ride internal to the 4 position stock.
