MG42 - 970728-1Pretty nice MG42. Overall finish is good. Shows some light pitting, mostly on the sides of the receiver. Feed tray show very little wear. Wood is dark, but in excellent condition. The only thing that distracts from the condition of the weapon's overall appearance, is the rough weld around the end of the barrel cage, behind the muzzle booster. This indicates that the weapon was probably manufactured outside of the main manufacturing plant, during a time that the plant was being heavily bombed. |
