MP38/40 - 260118-1
A very nice war trophy. An all original WWII MP40 documented bring back, manufactured in 1943. This is an all matching serial numbered weapon retaining a good percentage of its original finish. There are two things to be noted on this weapon. The first is that there is a crack in the original bakelite housing on the left side of the weapon, just above the pistol grip. The second is that the barrel rest piece is missing. This is very common on these weapons. Although they could have been easily replaced, I choose to leave it like I received it. An original era replacement bakelite housing will be available to the purchaser. The buyer will receive a copy of the of the original 4467 amnesty registration papers and a signed letter supplied to me by the seller, documenting how the weapon made its way back into the USA in 1946.
