Thompson - 200708-5
Thompson Sub-Machine Gun produced by Savage Arms for Auto Ordnance Corporation, during WWII, circa 1942. Tuned up and test fired by Stan Andrewski. I have tried to give as much detail in the jpegs as possible. I believe this weapon to be an old rewatt, however the weapon is listed as an original C&R weapon on the NFA Registry. If this is truly a re-watted weapon, it was done correctly. In any case, it will make a nice WWII shooter and is priced accordingly. I tested it and it runs perfectly. It has a smooth actuator knob, 28 style selector switches, finned barrel, Lyman sights, and "Cutts" compensator. The original wood is in pretty good shape, with a ding or two. This weapon is still marked "US" Model 1928A1. The letters "US" have not been ground off. Auto Ordnance is listed as the manufacturer and this weapon will C&R. Weapon comes with a 30 round box magazine, but an original "Bridgeport" drum is available for $1295 to the buyer.
