Thompson - 121109-1
A pretty clean example of a WWII M1A1 Thompson sub-machine gun with a very rare "US Property" marking. Only 15% of these weapons were marked with the property mark. Even less made it out into the lane of traffic. Bottom side of the receiver is stamped "AOC" for Auto Ordnance Corporation. Wood is nice enough. Better than most. Receiver is stamped "CCSO" on the left side for Clark County Sheriff Office out of Nevada. Also marked "CCSO SMG-5" on the top of the receiver. Not to often is the history on a WWII Thompson available. Nice crisp clean armorer marks. A very nice catch for the WWII weapons collector. Weapon comes with an original WWII 30 round magazine.
